Welcome to Changeworks Family Therapy!

We offer a professional, but inter-personal invitation offered by (trained and professionally certified) psychotherapists aiding our clients to reach their full potential and/or simply to cope better with life’s challenges.

We conduct individual and group therapy in a comfortable, therapeutic environment, characterized with highly trained and certified therapy professionals.therapist patient Our sessions always offer both secure and confidential climates providing clients the confidence to increase both their personal awareness and capacity for self observation, behavioral change and cognition, and also develop insight to their personal situations. We work toward mutually desired results enabling alternative choices of thought, feeling or action; increase sense of well-being and to better manage subjective discomfort or distress. We provide counseling on an individual, couples and in group therapy, engaging couples and entire families.

And although the most effective therapy is traditionally conducted face-to-face within our offices in Reston, Virginia (located within the NOVA Counseling Center office space), we are also Tech Savvy! We conduct our therapy over the telephone, Skype and VOIP teleconferencing technologies.

Psychotherapy Technique

Trained psychotherapists, we use a range of techniques influencing and/or persuading our clients to adapt or change based upon the goals and objectives set by the client proper. We discuss our client’s options in the initial meetings, and then build upon clear thinking options; experiential relationship building; dialogue, communication and adoption of behavior change strategies. Each is designed to improve the mental health of our clients or patients, or to improve group relationships (as in a family).
