Individual Therapy Sessions

As needed, we offer individual therapy for Addicts and Partners to deal with their own specific issues. Individual Therapy provides an opportunity to address unique struggles that could include: childhood trauma, ongoing family-of-origin issues, relationship issues, substance abuse, sex addiction and more. Individual Therapy can address anxiety, depression and panic attacks.

individual therapy Therapy is an individual choice. There are many reasons why people come to Individual therapy. Sometimes it is to deal with long term struggles; other times it is in response to changes in one’s life such as a divorce, a death, life trauma, or difficulty in a relationship. Some people seek individual therapy to help relieve symptoms such as sadness, anxiety or hopelessness; others seek support as they pursue their own personal exploration and growth.

If you are struggling to make the changes you want in your life, and you want to find insights and techniques in order for you to try new behaviors, individual therapy can be very helpful.

The most effective individual therapy is traditionally conducted face-to-face within our offices in Reston, Virginia. However, for those who travel frequently, we also conduct therapy on a HIPPA compliant video conferencing platform called Doxy, and the telephone when appropriate.
